GIFTBOX & PACKAGING
The 17.5ml Perfume spray is made of gold coloured glass and comes with a chic & protective aluminium spray-holder. The 17.5ml is finished with a stylish metal tag engraved with the name of the perfume and the perfume oil percentage.
The Perfume is packaged inside the beautiful signature giftbox that was specially designed for Puredistance in 2005. Every giftbox comes with a hand-signed certificate of authenticity.
The giftbox is protected by a high quality golden carton box that is wrapped with a matching gold ribbon bow.

Opens up with a very nice citrus note mixed with spices (clove and cinnamon to my nose). An amazing balsamic spicy oriental with huge longevity. Very refined smell and not so old fashioned as many have suggested. To me this is a high wuality modern scent that I can wear at any given moment and occsion. Like all Puredistance frangrances, this comes in perfect concentration: the scent lasts for a long time and has the perfect reach. It will not suffocate people, but rather give you a wonderful golden (sic) aura. Depending on how much you spray, of course.
The scent is not a Mondrian with sharp boundaries between the individual notes but rather an intricately weawed silk scarf. It is a perfect blend of different notes that smells much more than its individual constituents. Only if you look, or smell closely and focus, you’ll see that the perfect shade of gold is made of threads of green, ocre, deep red, orange, white, brown and yellow. Or herbs, labdanum, clove, mandarine, jasmine, cinnamon and vetiver.

Gold, the color of the warm summery sun light. The light that warms up any smell. Citruses, flowers, spices. Bergamot, Jasmin, pepper. Vanilla, benzoin and Tonka hug the precious vetiver. All the materials are amazingly blanded with castoreum. The juice is amazing. Another great work.

A bottle of Aenotus I have bought a week ago was meant to be my last perfume purchase this year, but once I have tested the new Gold from the complimentary discovery set I knew I need to have it and I need it now. Just as Black, which I adore, Gold gives you the instant feeling of pleasure and luxury. Like all Puredistance compositions it is perfectly blended, but it is not a monolith – individual ingredients reveal themseles for a long time. Tha balance between balsamic and resinous notes, spices, sweet and zesty citrus is wonderful. It is a soft and warm oriental scent that tucks you like a cashmere scarf.
